THE MASTER
The winds may roar and waves may crash,
My vessel is close to sinking,
I am afraid, yet peace abounds,
The Master is in the boat.
The billows roll, the storm is great,
I fear the depths will claim me,
But I hear His voice, I see His hand,
The Master is on the sea.
He fed the crowds, and healed the sick,
He made the lame to walk,
They turned on Him, and craved His death,
The Master is on the cross.
They laughed and jeered, and left Him to die,
The sun hid its face, the earth went dark,
I took Him down, and borrowed a tomb,
The Master is in the grave.
I hid myself, I was afraid,
What will I do? My hope is gone,
Then I heard His voice, that voice I Iove,
The Master is in the room.
I went fishing, but there were no fish,
I heard His voice, "Cast the other side."
My nets were full, they began to break,
The Master is on the beach.
I saw Him rise into the clouds,
An angel said He'll come again,
'Til then He reigns as King of Kings,
The Master is on His throne.
I look around and see unrest,
People still sneer and reject Him,
But in my heart I have peace, for
The Master is in control.
